The Partners Investing in Nursing's Future (PIN) is a partnership of the Northwest Health Foundation (NWHF) and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) to support the capacity, involvement and leadership of local foundations to advance the nursing profession in their own communities.

The Northwest Health Foundation (NWHF) is a non-profit foundation that seeks to advance, support, and promote the health of the people of Oregon and southwest Washington. They achieve their mission through a variety of means, including grant making, technical assistance and training, convening, commissioning research and supporting policy advocacy.

The mission of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) is to improve the health of all Americans. Their goal is clear: To help Americans lead healthier lives and to get the care they need.
